Essay On Qualities Of A Good Citizen For All Grade Students










Citizen is a person who is entitled to enjoy all the legal rights and privileges granted by the state to the person comprising its constituency and is obligated to obey its law and fulfill his or her duties as a citizen of that state . 
To be a good citizen you have to be a good person first . Being a good citizen is very important . A good citizen is a person who works hard , helps other and respect the law .
A good citizen is one who is honest and trustworthy , who follow rules and laws, respect the property of others , take responsibility of their actions. Being a good citizen means caring for others and you community . Caring for others means that you are not selfish when it comes to helping others. Responsible citizen make community strong and happy .
Honesty and compassion is the most important characteristics of a good citizen. Respect for self and others is an important citizen trait.
Man is a social animal. He cannot live without a society. To manage the society certain laws are made. These laws are meant to safeguard the interest of an individuals. Every individuals has got has got certain right and privileges. At the same time he has certain duties and responsibilities. A person who is aware of his responsibilities and duties in a society is considered to be a good citizen. How can we get our rights if we don't perform our duties? As a good citizen we should not only perform our duties honestly and sincerely but we should also possess certain important qualities.
A good citizen must be ready every time to scarifies his life for the sake of his motherland. He has to obey the laws of his land and think about the prosperity of his land. Every citizen should be honest and faithful for his Motherland. He has also to keep in his heart the welfare of his country , the benefits of the society and the long term interests of the nation. During the time of aggression or foreign attacks,  he must be ready to shed his blood for the sack of country where he live. Therefore defense of the country is primary duty of every single citizen. 
Islam also lays great stress on our duties as citizen. We cannot be good Muslims without being good and dutiful citizens.  
It is not easy to be good and sincere citizen . You have to make efforts to protect your Motherland. In today's era their are few people who are actually patriotic. People are more selfish nowadays they think more about themselves and don't care about their Motherland . Patriotism is a quality which is found only in good citizens. A Patriotic person is said to be good citizen. A Person who is patriotic love his country.
